You can enjoy peace of mind with HOBBYWING Care Shield, a plan that covers damage to your HOBBYWING selective ESC and offers convenient technical support. This plan is valid for 1 year and provides you with a total of three replacements, no questions asked. Each replacement incurs a small fee. (Please see replacement cost chart). If you decide to use up one of your two replacements for a No return, rapid replacement option is also available.

Standard replacements provide full, hassle-free coverage that includes damage due to accidents, such as damage upon installation, bad landing, water damage, collisions, and more. No return & rapid replacement package should be used in situations where the ESC has burned completely, such as a burned it toss it or you don't want to wait for the damage assessment process. Replacement units from HOBBYWING are brand new or equivalent to brand new in performance and reliability.


How It Works
Care Shield must be purchased within 5 days of the original ESC purchase. When you need to use HOBBYWING Care Shield Plan, you make an online repair request and then send your damaged HOBBYWING ESC back to us. HOBBYWING receives it. HOBBYWING will then send back your repaired device or a brand new replacement.


Extended Warranty Inspection Period
You can also extend the warranty inspection period by purchasing this Care Shield Plan. The ESC's warranty inspection period is extended by one year without interruption. Care Shield must be purchased before the standard warranty inspection period is expired (90 days from the original purchase day).


Shipping and Tech Support
HOBBYWING covers the replacement shipping cost (within the US 48 continents) and you can utilize exclusive technical support when needed via phone or online chat.

Please note that Care Shield plan / Manufacture limited warranty do not cover accessories like a wired power switch, a cooling fan, or an NPC (Negative Polarity Protected Capacitor). If any of these accessory parts are damaged, depending on your specific case, you might be able to repair them on your own. Our knowledgeable tech support team will evaluate the situation and offer you the best and quickest way to address the issue.

Upon submitting your request for a replacement, you will be provided with an RMA number and the return shipping address. Once we receive your damaged product, your replacement will be dispatched within 1-2 days. In the event that there is no inventory, your replacement order will be automatically given top priority and shipped as soon as it becomes available.

The HOBBYWING Care Shield plan operates similarly to an insurance policy. It must be purchased within 5 days of buying the original ESC. To extend the care shield plan for another year, you need to purchase it no later than 5 days after the expiration date.

Yes. The HOBBYWING Care Shield Plan is available for purchase on our North America Online store, but make sure to buy it within 5 days of your original ESC purchase.
